Scatterheart - Scatterheart is starting a revolution! Armed to the teeth with Love, Feathers and Great Songwriting they are fighting to make Rock n Roll fun again. "There's no reason you can't leave a rock show feeling happy!", says Scatterheart lead singer Jesse Enright. "I spent my teen years in the DJ scene and I was amazed by the amount of energy a room full of people can create. With Scatterheart I wanted to create the same experience and energy, but with a live rock show!" And that energy is building. The band is already stirring up audiences and press alike with music dubbed "Metric meets Queen" Scatterheart brings it's brand of high-energy, good feeling rock and roll to help ring in the New Year in Whistler.
	Joe Roncetti - Originally from Toronto, Joe Roncetti signed a publishing deal in the states with Warner Chappell and moved to Los Angeles. Joe began a journey that took him all over North America. Touring extensively with his rock bands Last Picture Show, Benjamin as well as acoustically taught this lad a thing or two about how to hold an audience. Many took notice and it lead to incredible collaborations with people like Glen Ballard, Robbie Nevil, Bernard Fowler (Rolling Stones) and Don Smith(Tom Petty) to name a few. This only fueled Joe's desire to continue writing great songs and keep performing. Eventually people noticed and it ended up keeping Joe on the road for most of 2008/09. First Night Whistler is pleased that Joe chose Whistler as the place to kick off 2010!

	Matt Levy - is truly an incredible performer!  Combining classic juggling acts such as the rolla-bolla and juggling while walking on a tight rope, Matt is definitely a skilled balancer! Matt’s new fire poi and a fire devil stick are sure to impress. His creative and wonderful balloon animals are always a crowd favorite. With all of these amazing feats Matt also teaches children about safety in his "Safety Matt'ers Show"

Marc Suess - of Dancing Bear Story Theatre creates the ultimate story-time adventure with his original, interactive and hilarious story performances. Unique to Marc is his 40ft inflatable whale that fits (inside) up to 50 children at a time for these memorable tales.

Kidzcrafts - Kathy Inglis brings her creative crafting to First Night presenting the opportunity for everyone to create a Whistler First Night memento.

Par-T-Perfect - A local Squamish company, Par-T-Perfect presents two Rag Doll Clowns to entertain the masses with their creative balloon twisting and clowning around.

The Trollsons - The Trollsons are a magical and comedic family of Trolls from the Canadian forest. The Trollsons have been entertaining at festivals and special events around Vancouver and the lower mainland since 1995. Join them on the First Night Whistler Kids Stage for the story of: The One-Eyed Troll - based on a folktale from Scandinavia. An evil one-eyed troll has taken over the forest. Everyone is terrified, but a young boy out looking for some firewood just might have a solution. Where his two older brothers failed, our young hero uses his wit against brute force. The Trollsons will also be roaming the Village throughout the evening.

Whistler Blackcomb - The Mountain Show: Fire spinners, fireworks and Ski and Snowboard school's hottest pros throwing down big air through a ring of fire makes this event a family-friendly must do. Look up Whistler Mountain and catch a glimpse of the Torch Light Parade as it snakes it’s way to Skier’s Plaza.

Meadow Park Sports Centre - Meadow Park Sports Centre will honour First Night tickets for the public skate (only); 12pm – 4pm, Dec 31st, 2008. Please note rentals are not included.
